Two People Arrested and Facing Multiple Charges in New Glasgow.
New Glasgow Regional Police Major Crime Unit charges two people with multiple drug and drug trafficking offences.
The New Glasgow Regional Police Major Crime Unit has charged two people as a result of an ongoing investigation.
On Thursday January 22 at 6:30 a.m. New Glasgow Regional Police Major Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of Pleasant Street New Glasgow. During the search, officers arrested two persons without incident and seized cell phones, weigh scales, a large quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine and cash.
The Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Dog Services also assisted in the search warrant.

Two persons were arrested and were charged with the following;
Jessica Martell (39) of New Glasgow.
Trafficking
Possession for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of a Controlled substance
Possession of a controlled substance
Fail to comply with undertaking
Tyler Ryan (33) of Port Hawkesbury
Possession for the purpose of trafficking
Fail to comply with Probation
Fail to comply with Release Order
Ryan and Martell have been held in custody and will be appearing in Provincial Court today.
New Glasgow Regional Police continue to investigate.
