RCMP Across Several Counties Investigate Multiple Thefts.

RCMP in several counties are asking for public assistance to identify two people of interest in connection with a series of thefts in different communities.

Through the morning of June 4, RCMP in Pictou County, Antigonish County, and Inverness County responded to multiple reports of theft and shoplifting at businesses. In each incident, the people involved were seen driving a light blue or silver Toyota Corolla. The Nova Scotia licence plate observed on the car, HCY224, is registered to an unrelated vehicle.

The two people are both described as men, at or under six feet tall, and approximately 35-45 years old. One man had a beard and was wearing a ball cap and a grey shirt. The other was wearing a plaid shirt and had brown hair.

Items reported stolen include gas, clothing, alcohol, and a slushie machine from different stores.

Anyone with information about these incidents, the persons of interest, or the vehicle is asked to contact local police.
