ATV Crash Results in Youth Being Airlifted to Hospital.

Queens District RCMP is investigating a serious all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash that occurred in Kempt.

Yesterday, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Queens District RCMP, fire and EHS, responded to a report of an ATV crash near Hwy. 8. RCMP officers learned that the vehicle rolled while it was travelling on a logging road.

The driver of the ATV, a youth from Kempt, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital by LifeFlight.

The highway was closed momentarily to allow the helicopter to land safely.

The investigation is ongoing.
