RCMP Investigating Serious Injury From ATV Crash.
On October 18, 2023, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Inverness County District RCMP, fire and EHS, responded to a report of an ATV crash on Reservation Rd. in We’koqma’q. RCMP officers learned that an ATV had been travelling Reservation Rd., when the ATV left the road and came to rest in a ditch.
The driver, and sole rider, of the ATV, a 62-year-old We’koqma’q man, suffered life-threatening-injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance. The man was then transported to a hospital in Halifax by LifeFlight.
The investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing.
