Police Respond to Single Vehicle Collision With Railway Light.
New Glasgow Regional Police is investigating a single motor vehicle collision that occurred Tuesday evening in New Glasgow.
On April 16, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m., New Glasgow Regional Police responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on North Provost Street and St John’s Street, where a 2014 Hyundai Accent collied with a railway crossing light sustaining significant damage. Preliminary investigation indicated that the vehicle north in the direction of Trenton and lost control, coming to rest near the railway.
Once police arrived no one was in the vehicle at the time and police are continuing to investigate.
North Provost Street and St John’s Street was closed to traffic for over an hour.
