19 Year Old Pictou County Woman Charged With Trafficking.

This morning at approximately 2:30 am, Truro Police Service patrol officers conducted a traffic stop on Willow Street in Truro resulting in the seizure of a large quantity of cocaine.

A 19-year-old female from Pictou County was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

The vehicle driver, a 22-year-old male from Brookfield was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance and illegally transporting cannabis in a vehicle.

The female will appear in Provincial Court on June 12, 2024, and the male will appear on June 26, 2024.
