Drug Charges Laid After Police Search in New Glasgow.

Two men, one 33 years old of Little Harbour and the other 31 years old from Mount Uniacke were arrested and are facing one count each of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

On Tuesday September 5th at approximately 11:00am the Pictou County Intergrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit and the New Glasgow Regional Police conducted a search of an East River Road location where drugs and cash were seized.

The two have been released from custody and are to appear in Court at a future date.
