Couple Arrested For Possession Related Charges After Vehicle Stop.

On July 23, 2024, the Truro Police Service patrol division conducted a vehicle stop that resulted in the seizure of drugs consisting of cocaine, methamphetamine, benzodiazepine, hydromorphone, psilocybin, and other drug paraphernalia.

A 39-year-old male and a 34-year-old female were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking. They have since been released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
