The First Tiny Home Community in Nova Scotia is Taking Shape.
The first tiny home community in Nova Scotia is taking shape in Lower Sackville, with units being put in place today, August 29.
The Province provided $9.4 million in the fall of 2023 for construction costs and has committed $935,000 for annual operating costs. Wraparound supports will be provided on-site to help residents connect to employment and more permanent housing.

The project is a collaboration between the provincial and municipal governments, The Shaw Group and Dexter Construction. (Communications Nova Scotia)
Units will continue to arrive in the coming weeks. The community will open to residents starting in October. (Communications Nova Scotia)
