Great White in Our Waters

There is a Great White Shark in our waters named Savannah which was first attached with a tracking device on March 5th, 2017 off Hilton Head South Caroline by the ocean research group Ocearch.

Savannah has made her way the 1500 miles up the Eastern Seaboard of North American and was last pinged for location off the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia between Ecum Secum and the mouth of the St. Mary’s River at Sonora.

She is classified as an immature White Shark but still has a length of 8ft 6″ and a weight of 460lbs.
