RCMP is Asking For The Public’s Assistance in Locating 39-Year-Old Christopher Shindruk.

UPDATE: The 39-year-old man who was reported missing earlier today from Eden Lake has been found safe.

The RCMP thanks Nova Scotians for assisting with missing persons files through social media shares and offering tips.

Pictou County District RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 39-year-old Christopher Shindruk who was last seen on February 9 on Macs Ln. in Eden Lake.

Shindruk is described as 5-foot-10, 160lbs, has dark brown hair, brown eyes and some facial scruff. He was wearing dark blue faded jeans, a camouflage jacket and a ballcap. Shindruk normally walks with a cane, which is aluminum, has a single point and a hooked handle.

Shindruk was last seen driving a bronze Subaru Outback with Nova Scotia license plate GPG389. He turned from Macs Ln. onto Sherbrooke Rd. and was heading towards Sherbrooke.

When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those that know them. We ask that people spread the word through social media respectfully.
