Structure Fire at Mobile Home Trailer Park on Tanager Street,New Glasgow.

On Thursday February 9, 2023 at approximately 12:50 p.m. just after noon, New Glasgow Fire Department and New Glasgow Regional Police and Nova Scotia Power responded to a structure fire at a mobile home trailer park on Tanager Street,New Glasgow.

Tanager Street was closed for several hours in both directions as fire crews attended the fire.

No one was injured as a result of the fire and a 78-year-old female and an 18-year-old female escaped the fire without injury.

The mobile home was completely destroyed.

“The preliminary investigation has determined that the fire is non-suspicious and investigators will continue to determine possible causes”, said Fire Chief Ross White of the New Glasgow Fire Department.
