52-Year-Old Man Charged After Uttering Threats.
New Glasgow Regional Police have charged a 52-year-old man after uttering threats.
On February 17, 2023, at approximately 7:12 p.m., New Glasgow Regional Police assisted by Stellarton Police Service received a 911 call that a man was believed to be in possession of a firearm and uttering threats at a Little Harbour Road residence.
The man exited the residence and attempted to drive a vehicle, where he was immediately arrested by police.
No one was injured and no firearm was located.
The 52-year-old from Pictou County was charged with,
Uttering Threats.
Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
Failure to Comply with a Release Order.
He was later released on an Undertaking.
On February 18, 2023, at approximately 7:30 p.m., New Glasgow Regional Police received another call at the same residence that the same 52-year-old man was believed to be in possession of a firearm and uttering threats.
The 52-year-old man from Pictou County was arrested without incident and charged with,
Uttering Threats.
Failure to Comply with a Release Order.
No one was injured and no firearm was located.
He was remanded into custody and will be appearing in Pictou Provincial Court on Tuesday morning.
New Glasgow Regional Police continue to investigate.
