47-year-old Female From Pictou county Charged With Possession For The Purpose of trafficking.

On Friday, March 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the New Glasgow Regional Police, conducted a search warrant at a residence on Brother Street, New Glasgow.

As part of a lengthy investigation, police seized a quantity of drugs and packaging materials.

Police arrested a 47-year-old female from Pictou County at the scene without incident and has been charged with:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Failure to Comply with a Release Order Condition.

The 47-year-old was remanded into custody and will appear in Pictou Provincial Court at a later date.
