RCMP Continues Search For 78-year-old Derek Kruger.
The Inverness County District RCMP continues to ask for the public’s help in locating 78-year-old Derek Kruger who was last seen at a gas station in Antigonish on September 29.
Since the investigation into Kruger’s disappearance began on October 4, an extensive search was conducted in the Greenfield, Colchester County, area where Kruger’s red Mazda Miata was found on a logging road and investigators have followed up on several tips, but no new information has been received more recently.
The investigation is ongoing, and there is no indication of criminality at this time.
Derek Kruger is described as 5-foot-4, with brown hair, wearing glasses and a hearing aid.
When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those who know them.
RCMP officers are looking for any new details about Kruger’s movements in late September and early October, even if they seem insignificant. This information could help locate him.
