25 Year Old Woman Charged With Impaired Operation After Collision With Pole and Power Outage.
The Truro Police Service Patrol Section and K9 Unit responded to a single vehicle collision last evening at the intersection of Cottage Street and Brunswick Street resulting in a broken utility pole and power outage in the area.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and was arrested a short time later by Truro Police Service patrol officers for impaired driving and failing to remain at the scene of a collision.
The 25-year-old female driver from Bible Hill will appear in Provincial Court on June 5, 2024.
