Police lay charges after drug search

Police have charged a man in relation to the search of a residence in Halifax last week.

In relation to an ongoing investigation, on July 25, investigators from the Special Enforcement Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division searched a residence on Cunard Street in Halifax. A man at the residence was arrested and officers seized approximately 3 kgs of cocaine, a quantity of oxycodone and MDMA, and over $100,000.

Vernon Washington Brown, 24, was scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court on July 26 to face charges of:
