Man Wanted on Province-Wide Arrest Warrant For Multiple Serious Offenses.

UPDATE (9:25 a.m.): RCMP officers remain on scene and are seeking the whereabouts of 33-year-old Stephen Joseph Dakota Maloney, who’s wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant for Break and Entering with Intent, Assault With a Weapon, Assault, and firearms offences.

Maloney has brown hair and brown eyes. He’s approximately 6 feet, 240 lbs.

As part of an ongoing investigation, RCMP officers are executing search warrants on Hwy. 204 in Birchwood and on Hansford Rd. in Hansford. Expect an increased police presence and short-term road closures. There’s no risk to public safety at this time, but we ask that people avoid both areas to allow investigators to do their work.
