Woman Seriously Injured in Violent Attack.
On August 24th, 2024, at approximately 3:05 AM, the Truro Police Service responded to a complaint of a woman being stabbed in the area of downtown Truro.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A 22 year old female was arrested soon after the incident and has been charged with attempted murder and remanded into custody .
Our investigation has determined that the victim and accused were known to each other . The name of the accused has been withheld until they appear in court Monday August 26th.
