16 Year Old Arrested For Serious Assault and Robbery.

Last evening at 9:30 pm, the Truro Police Service responded to an assault with a weapon call on Belgrave Terrace.

The 24-year-old victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated by EHS at the scene.

Officers later arrested a 16-year-old male for assault with a weapon and robbery.

The accused was held in police custody overnight and will appear in Truro Provincial Court this morning. The identify of the accused is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act and cannot be released.
