NEW WORK


VICTORIA COUNTY: Seal Island Bridge

Seal Island Bridge will be reduced to one lane for inspection and maintenance from Sunday, September 22, to Saturday, September 28.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Both lanes will be open in the evening and overnight.


CONTINUING WORK


CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Kenwood Drive, Sydney River

Kenwood Drive from Oceanview Drive to Kings Road is closed for construction of a roundabout until Saturday, September 28.

A detour is in place.


CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Sluice Bridge, East Bay

Sluice Bridge on Chapel Road is closed for repairs until Friday, October 4.

A detour is in place via Route 216/Trunk 4.


COLCHESTER COUNTY: Donaldson Bridge, French River

Donaldson Bridge on Lake Road, about three kilometres west of Tatamagouche, is closed until further notice.

The detours are Trout Brook Road and Cooper Road.


COLCHESTER COUNTY: Salmon River Bridge, Truro

The northbound side of the Salmon River Bridge on Highway 102, between exits 14 and 14A, is reduced to one lane for bridge work. The northbound left lane will be closed 24 hours a day. The expected completion date is Tuesday, October 29.

Traffic control is on-site, and signs are posted.


COLCHESTER COUNTY: Slade Road, Tatamagouche

Slade Road is closed between Lake Road and West Tatamagouche Road until further notice because of a bridge closure.


CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Route 366

A section of Route 366 is closed because of a culvert failure. Only local traffic is allowed from East Amherst to Port Howe. A detour is available via Trunk 6.

Work continues until Monday, September 30.


HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102, Bedford / Lower Sackville

Highway 102 near Exit 4C has regular lane closures and construction in both directions until Saturday, September 28, for construction of the Highway 107-Highway 102 interchange.

Work takes place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the northbound lanes and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the southbound lanes. Traffic control is on-site. Both lanes will be open in the evening and overnight.

Motorists should expect delays and should use alternative routes when possible.


HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 111 (Windsor Street Exchange), Halifax

Construction on the structure over Mackintosh Street will continue until further notice.

Traffic control is on-site.


HANTS COUNTY: Halfway River Bridge, Hantsport

The Halfway River Bridge on Trunk 1 is closed for repairs until Thursday, October 31.

A detour is in place.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Beaton Road, Hawthorne

Beaton Road, five kilometres from Trunk 19, is reduced to one lane for road work until Thursday, October 31.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Roseburn Road, Whycocomagh

Roseburn Road, 5.2 kilometres from Whycocomagh-Port Hood Road, is reduced to one lane for road work until Thursday, October 31.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Rough Brook Bridge, Queensville

Rough Brook Bridge on Highway 105, about 2.2 kilometres north of Blue Ridge Road, is reduced to one lane for repaving until Thursday, October 31.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Trunk 19, Harbourview

Trunk 19 from the Captain Gillis Bridge northerly for 250 metres is reduced to one lane for repaving until Thursday, October 31.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place form sunrise to sunset.


INVERNESS COUNTY: Walker Cove Road, Walker Cove

Walker Cove Road, 1.2 kilometres from Trunk 19, is reduced to one lane for road work until Thursday, October 31.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset.


RICHMOND COUNTY: Port Royal Bridge, Isle Madame

The Port Royal Bridge on Port Royal Road is closed until further notice. A detour is in place on MacEachern Road.


RICHMOND COUNTY: St. Peters Fourchu Road, Saint Esprit

St. Peters Fourchu Road will have alternating lane closures for repaving until Monday, September 30.

Traffic control is on-site. Work takes place from sunrise to sunset. Weekend work is expected.
