Police Looking to Identify Young Persons That Were Approached by an Adult Male.

New Glasgow Regional Police are looking to identify the group of young persons that were approached by an adult male that identified himself as a police officer.

New Glasgow Regional Police are asking for the public’s assistance in assisting police with an ongoing investigation. On October 27, police received a report of an adult male who identified himself as a police officer to a group of youth in a parked vehicle at Canadian Tire Westville Road New Glasgow.

Police are requesting to speak to any of the youth or any other persons who had been approached by this person who identified himself as a police officer.

Investigation has identified the person who identified himself as a police officer was in fact not a police officer.

The investigation continues to identify any victims that were approached by this person.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the New Glasgow Regional Police at (902) 752-1941. New Glasgow Regional Police and Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers are looking to identify the persons that were approached by a male who approached these youth identifying himself as a police officer in, the parking lot outside of the Canadian Tire New Glasgow.
