Pictou County District RCMP Charged Two People With Trafficking Offences.
Pictou County District RCMP has charged two people with offences related to the trafficking of illicit drugs in Pictou County.
On December 6, the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU) led the execution of two search warrants, one at a business in Linacy and the other at a residence in Stellarton.
During the searches, a variety of exhibits were seized, including items that support the trafficking of controlled substances.
Colin Graham, 34, and Amanda Binder, 28, both of Stellarton, were arrested at the residence and have been charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine)
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methadone)
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (steroids)
- Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
Graham also faces a charge of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. A third person was released without charges.
Graham and Binder have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Pictou Provincial Court on February 3.
The PCISCEU is made up of police officers from Pictou County District RCMP, Westville Police Service, and Stellarton Police Service. The safe execution of the search warrants also included additional officers from Pictou County District RCMP, Stellarton Police Service, and RCMP Police Dog Services. The investigation is ongoing with support from RCMP Forensic Identification Services.
