Police Respond to Calls of Unwanted Person at Two Residences.

At approximately 12:45 p.m. January 8, Inverness County District RCMP responded to a report of an unwanted person at a residence on Kitpu Dr. in Waycobah. The man was reported to be armed. Multiple RCMP officers responded; the man was not located.

Officers attended a second residence where the man was reported to be. Officers did not locate the man or any evidence to indicate the man had been at the home.

The investigation is ongoing; however, officers have not been able to confirm the circumstances of the initial report, and have no evidence to indicate there is a public safety risk. Inverness County District RCMP is asking anyone who may have information with regard to the incident to call 902-258-2213.
