Women Injured in Collision, Other Driver Fleed Scene on Foot.
Police charge driver in collision
Police have charged a man in relation to a collision that occurred Monday in Spryfield.
On March 31, 2025, at approximately 1 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 500-block of Old Sambro Road in Spryfield. A 51-year-old woman, who was the driver of one of the vehicles, was transported to the hospital by EHS with what are believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were seen leaving the scene on foot and fleeing into the nearby woods. At approximately 2:15 p.m., officers located both individuals in the woods and arrested the driver. The passenger was released without charges and turned over to EHS for treatment of what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Scott Creamer, 35, appeared in Halifax provincial court yesterday to face charges of:
- operation of a conveyance while prohibited
- operation of a conveyance causing bodily harm
- failure to comply with probation order
- obstruct public-peace officer
- failure to stop after an accident resulting in bodily harm
The investigation is ongoing.
