{"id":10043,"date":"2024-12-19T14:05:46","date_gmt":"2024-12-19T17:05:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=10043"},"modified":"2024-12-19T14:05:47","modified_gmt":"2024-12-19T17:05:47","slug":"life-threatening-injuries-after-collision-of-suv-and-transport-truck","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/12\/19\/life-threatening-injuries-after-collision-of-suv-and-transport-truck\/","title":{"rendered":"Life Threatening Injuries After Collision of SUV and Transport Truck."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shelburne RCMP Detachment is investigating a serious collision that occurred in Shelburne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On December 18, at approximately 11 a.m., Shelburne RCMP, fire services, and EHS responded to a report of a collision on Hwy. 103 at Exit 26, an intersection with Ohio Rd. RCMP officers learned that a Chevrolet Equinox and an eastbound transport truck collided while the Equinox was turning onto the highway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The driver of the Equinox, a 67-year-old woman, and the passenger, a 64-year-old woman, both from Caledonia, each suffered life-threatening injuries and were transported to hospital by EHS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The driver of the transport truck, a 23-year-old man from Halifax, did not suffer physical injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hwy. 103 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source: RCMP Release <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shelburne RCMP Detachment is investigating a serious collision that occurred in Shelburne.
