{"id":10158,"date":"2024-12-31T17:47:28","date_gmt":"2024-12-31T20:47:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=10158"},"modified":"2024-12-31T17:47:28","modified_gmt":"2024-12-31T20:47:28","slug":"73-year-old-man-is-victim-of-fatal-house-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2024\/12\/31\/73-year-old-man-is-victim-of-fatal-house-fire\/","title":{"rendered":"73 Year Old Man is Victim of Fatal House Fire."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>East Hants District RCMP is investigating a fatal house fire that occurred in Shubenacadie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At approximately 7:15 a.m. on December 31, East Hants District RCMP and fire services responded to a report of a house fire on Hwy. 215 in Shubenacadie. Two occupants of the home, a 65-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman, safely exited the home and were not injured. The third occupant of the home, a 73-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fire is not believed to be suspicious at this time, however, investigators continue to gather information and evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation is being assisted by the Nova Scotia Office of the Fire Marshal, the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service, Northeast Nova RCMP Major Crime and RCMP Forensic Identification Services.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source : RCMP Release <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>East Hants District RCMP is investigating a fatal house fire that occurred in Shubenacadie.
