The male victim was transported to the hospital for further treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A 26-year-old female was arrested on scene without incident. She is charged with attempted murder and violation of a court order prohibiting her to have contact with the victim from a previous case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The accused will be remanded into custody and will appear in court at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Truro Police Service Criminal Investigation Division and the Truro Police Service Forensic Identification Section have taken the lead on this investigation of Intimate Partner Violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The name of the accused is being withheld until their first court appearance.
