Police charge man with sexual assault<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A man working as a massage therapist in Halifax has been charged with sexual assault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On December 9, 2024, police received a report of a sexual assault that had occurred in Lacewood by a massage therapist during an appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sergii Kozub, 43, is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on April 14, 2025, to face one count of sexual assault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Out of respect and concern for the victim\u2019s privacy and wellbeing, we are not releasing any further details regarding the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is important to remember that there is no statute of limitation on sexual assaults, and we encourage anyone who has been the victim of a sexual assault to contact police. We want victims to know that they will be treated with compassion, dignity and respect throughout the entire investigative process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
