{"id":10841,"date":"2025-04-06T12:26:39","date_gmt":"2025-04-06T15:26:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=10841"},"modified":"2025-04-06T12:26:40","modified_gmt":"2025-04-06T15:26:40","slug":"police-investigate-fatal-single-vehicle-crash-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2025\/04\/06\/police-investigate-fatal-single-vehicle-crash-11\/","title":{"rendered":"Police Investigate Fatal Single Vehicle Crash."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Upper Tantallon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yesterday, at approximately 9:25 a.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment, fire, and EHS, responded to a report of a vehicle crash on Hwy. 103, near Exit 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RCMP officers learned that a Toyota Matrix was travelling westbound when it left the roadway and entered the ditch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 47-year-old woman from Dalhousie Junction, New Brunswick, was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location of the crash; the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A section of Hwy. 103 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: RCMP Release <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Upper Tantallon.
