A 77-year-old woman was crossing Larry Uteck Blvd in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The woman was transported to the hospital with what area believed to be serious injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 52-year-old driver was issued a summary offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian while in a crosswalk, which carries a fine of $697.50<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: HRP Release<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Police investigate vehicle-pedestrian collision.
