{"id":11034,"date":"2025-05-09T15:59:09","date_gmt":"2025-05-09T18:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=11034"},"modified":"2025-05-09T15:59:09","modified_gmt":"2025-05-09T18:59:09","slug":"infant-seriously-injured-in-two-vehicle-collision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2025\/05\/09\/infant-seriously-injured-in-two-vehicle-collision\/","title":{"rendered":"Infant Seriously Injured in Two Vehicle Collision."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>East Hants District RCMP is investigating a serious collision that occurred in Centre Rawdon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On May 8, at approximately 12:05 p.m., RCMP officers, fire services, and EHS, responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Hwy. 14 and South Rawdon Rd. Investigators learned that a Freightliner truck was travelling west on Hwy. 14 and a Chevrolet Cruze was travelling north on South Rawdon Rd. when they collided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rear passenger of the Cruze, an infant, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS LifeFlight. The driver and passenger of the vehicle, a 34-year-old South Rawdon woman and a 69-year-old Hantsport woman, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to hospital by EHS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The driver and lone occupant of the truck, a 70-year-old man of Williamswood, suffered minor injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The intersection was closed several hours but has since reopened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: RCMP Release <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>East Hants District RCMP is investigating a serious collision that occurred in Centre Rawdon.
