Antigonish County District RCMP is investigating a serious collision that occurred in Lochaber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On June 28 at approximately 2:10 p.m., Antigonish County District RCMP, fire services, and EHS responded to a report of a collision on Hwy. 7 north of Lochaber. Officers learned that a Nissan Rogue and a Harley Davidson motorcycle collided on the roadway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The driver of the motorcycle, a 62-year-old Mount Uniacke woman, had serious injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS. The driver and only occupant of the SUV, an 82-year-old Antigonish man, also reported injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hwy. 7 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
