{"id":11247,"date":"2025-07-29T13:51:31","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T16:51:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=11247"},"modified":"2025-07-29T13:51:32","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T16:51:32","slug":"police-investigate-collision-between-motorcycle-and-car","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2025\/07\/29\/police-investigate-collision-between-motorcycle-and-car\/","title":{"rendered":"Police Investigate Collision Between Motorcycle and Car."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Antigonish County District RCMP is investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred in on Hwy. 104 near Linwood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On July 27 at approximately 4:45 p.m., Antigonish County District RCMP, fire services, and EHS responded to a report of a collision involving a motorcycle and a Honda Civic on the highway between exits 37 and 38. RCMP officers learned that the vehicles were both travelling westbound and the collision occurred in the eastbound lane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The motorcycle driver, a 58-year-old man from Ontario, and passenger, a 60-year-old woman from Ontario, had injuries and both were transported to hospital by EHS. Neither the driver of the car, a 79-year-old man, nor the passenger in the car, a 73-year-old woman, both from Connecticut, reported injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hwy. 104 was closed for several hours but has since reopened. Several witnesses provided information and dashcam footage to investigating officers.
