RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is investigating a tractor trailer collision with a utility tractor that occurred in Fall River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On September 16, at approximately 7:49 p.m., RCMP officers, EHS and fire services, responded to a collision involving a tractor trailer and a utility tractor on Hwy. 118 in Fall River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Responding officers learned a northbound tractor trailer had rear-ended a John Deer tractor, travelling in the same direction at a lower speed, near Exit 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The driver of the tractor, a 43-year-old Dartmouth man, was ejected upon impact and sustained serious injuries. The driver of the tractor trailer, a 25-year-old Stillwater Lake man, was not injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
EHS and EHS LifeFlight attended the scene to provide aid to the injured utility tractor driver before he was transported to hospital by ambulance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
