A former massage therapist in Halifax is facing new sexual assault charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In March, police arrested and charged Sergii Kozub, 43, with one count of sexual assault. In April, five additional sexual assault charges were laid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On July 15, police laid two more sexual assault charges against Sergii Kozub. Mr. Kozub reappeared in Halifax Provincial Court on September 8 to face those charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Kozub was a massage therapist working at a business on Lacewood Drive in Halifax. The assaults are alleged to have taken place during appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additional charges represent more victims coming forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Out of respect and concern for the victims, no further details about the incidents will be released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is no statute of limitation on sexual assaults. Anyone who has been the victim of a sexual assault is encouraged to contact police. Victims will be treated with compassion, dignity and respect throughout the entire investigative process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
