{"id":11498,"date":"2025-10-19T06:47:57","date_gmt":"2025-10-19T09:47:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=11498"},"modified":"2025-10-19T06:47:57","modified_gmt":"2025-10-19T09:47:57","slug":"police-investigate-vehicle-and-pedestrian-collision-resulting-in-eight-year-old-going-to-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2025\/10\/19\/police-investigate-vehicle-and-pedestrian-collision-resulting-in-eight-year-old-going-to-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"Police Investigate Vehicle and Pedestrian Collision Resulting in Eight Year Old Going to Hospital."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New Glasgow Regional Police respond to a vehicle\/pedestrian collision sending an eight-year-old female to hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Wednesday October 15, 2025, at 3:15 p.m., New Glasgow Regional Police, New Glasgow Fire Department and Emergency Health Services attended the scene involving a vehicle\/pedestrian collision on Almont Avenue, New Glasgow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The driver of the Ford F150 truck was traveling north on Almont Avenue when a motor vehicle\/pedestrian collision occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Preliminary investigation indicated that the driver of the Ford F150 truck view was obstructed by another vehicle stopped at the east side of Fraser Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speed was not a factor in the vehicle\/pedestrian collision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 8-year-old Pictou County female was transported to the Aberdeen Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New Glasgow Regional Police continue to investigate<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Almont Avenue was closed to traffic in the Fraser Street area for over an hour to complete the investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Glasgow Regional Police respond to a vehicle\/pedestrian collision sending an eight-year-old female to hospital.
