Upon arrival at the scene, officers learned that the truck, a GMC Sierra, had left the roadway and hit a utility pole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The driver and sole occupant of the truck, a 45-year-old Mount Uniacke man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A collision reconstructionist attended the scene. The investigation remains ongoing, and is being assisted by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The crash caused a power outage in the immediate area.
