{"id":11607,"date":"2025-11-07T18:49:55","date_gmt":"2025-11-07T21:49:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=11607"},"modified":"2025-11-07T18:49:56","modified_gmt":"2025-11-07T21:49:56","slug":"rcmp-charge-39-year-old-man-after-stabbing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2025\/11\/07\/rcmp-charge-39-year-old-man-after-stabbing\/","title":{"rendered":"RCMP Charge 39 Year Old Man After Stabbing."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Cumberland County District RCMP has charged a man after a stabbing in Port Greville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On November 6, at approximately 9:20 a.m., RCMP officers responded to an assault at a property in the 100 block of Brook Rd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the investigation, RCMP officers learned that two men who are known to each other got into a physical altercation and one man stabbed the other with a knife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The victim was transported to hospital by EHS with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adam Joseph Atkinson, 39, from Springhill, has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Mischief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atkinson appeared in Amherst Provincial Court on November 6.
