{"id":11636,"date":"2025-11-14T04:07:56","date_gmt":"2025-11-14T07:07:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=11636"},"modified":"2025-11-14T04:07:57","modified_gmt":"2025-11-14T07:07:57","slug":"man-sustains-injuries-after-serious-incident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2025\/11\/14\/man-sustains-injuries-after-serious-incident\/","title":{"rendered":"Man Sustains Injuries After Serious Incident."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The RCMP\/HRP Integrated General Investigation Section is investigating a shooting in Cole Harbour and is appealing for information from the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On November 13, at approximately 3:45 a.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment and EHS, responded to an injured man in the parking lot of a store in the 0-100 block of Forest Hills Pkwy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When officers arrived, the man told them he had been shot. The officers provided first aid until EHS arrived and transported the 31-year-old man of Cole Harbour to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No other injuries have been reported. It is believed this was not a random act and there is no risk to public safety at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation is ongoing and being led by the RCMP\/HRP Integrated General Investigative Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment at 902-490-5020.
