{"id":11640,"date":"2025-11-15T06:21:17","date_gmt":"2025-11-15T09:21:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=11640"},"modified":"2025-11-15T06:21:18","modified_gmt":"2025-11-15T09:21:18","slug":"rcmp-investigate-fatal-pedestrian-and-vehicle-collision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2025\/11\/15\/rcmp-investigate-fatal-pedestrian-and-vehicle-collision\/","title":{"rendered":"RCMP Investigate Fatal Pedestrian and Vehicle Collision."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Pictou County District RCMP is investigating a fatal collision between a pedestrian and vehicles that occurred on Hwy. 104 at Stellarton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On November 13 at approximately 6:50 p.m., RCMP officers, fire services, and EHS responded to a report of a collision between exits 24 and 25 of Hwy. 104. Officers learned that a person was walking on the westbound lane of the roadway and was struck by vehicles.<br>The pedestrian, a 45-year-old southwest Nova Scotia man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this time, criminality is not believed to be a factor. The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene.
