Lunenburg District RCMP is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash in Pinehurst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On November 27, at approximately 7:50 a.m., RCMP, EHS and fire services responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash in the 4600 block of Hwy. 10. Officers learned a Jeep Wrangler was travelling northbound when it left the road and entered the LaHave River.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, a 46-year-old man from LaHave, was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location of the crash and Hwy. 10 was closed for several hours. The roadway has since reopened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
