{"id":11962,"date":"2026-01-21T13:49:11","date_gmt":"2026-01-21T16:49:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=11962"},"modified":"2026-01-21T13:49:12","modified_gmt":"2026-01-21T16:49:12","slug":"33-year-old-woman-facing-multiple-charges-after-theft-of-vehicle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2026\/01\/21\/33-year-old-woman-facing-multiple-charges-after-theft-of-vehicle\/","title":{"rendered":"33 Year Old Woman Facing Multiple Charges After Theft of Vehicle."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Police lay charges in theft of motor vehicle<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Police have charged a woman for theft of a motor vehicle and a collision involving a police vehicle that occurred earlier this week in Halifax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On January 19 at approximately 6:30 a.m. officers responded to a report that a truck had been stolen from a residence in the 5600 block of Fenwick Street in Halifax. At approximately 7:20 a.m. officers located the truck on Chebucto Road and attempted a traffic stop; however, the driver did not stop and struck a marked police vehicle. As the driver continued to flee, they struck another responding marked police vehicle and then struck a third vehicle on the road that was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Connaught Avenue and Quinpool Road. At approximately 7:40 a.m., with assistance from the K9 Unit, officers located and arrested the driver.
