{"id":12442,"date":"2026-04-18T08:24:50","date_gmt":"2026-04-18T11:24:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=12442"},"modified":"2026-04-18T08:24:52","modified_gmt":"2026-04-18T11:24:52","slug":"youth-charged-with-serious-offences-following-online-investigation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2026\/04\/18\/youth-charged-with-serious-offences-following-online-investigation\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth Charged With Serious Offences Following Online Investigation."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The RCMP\/HRP Integrated General Investigation Section has charged a youth with offences related to child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAEM) and the publishing of obscene material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March 2026, the RCMP Community Action Response Team (CART) was notified by the RCMP\u2019s Ideologically Motivated Criminal Intelligence Team in Ottawa of a youth who was active on several online forums associated with violent and harmful content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 15, members of the RCMP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division, with the assistance of RCMP CART, the RCMP\/HRP Integrated Internet Child Exploitation Unit, and Halifax Regional Police Digital Forensic Services, executed a search warrant at a residence in Kinsac.
