{"id":12542,"date":"2026-05-06T07:20:21","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T10:20:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=12542"},"modified":"2026-05-06T07:20:22","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T10:20:22","slug":"38-year-old-man-arrested-on-outstanding-warrants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2026\/05\/06\/38-year-old-man-arrested-on-outstanding-warrants\/","title":{"rendered":"38 Year Old Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrants."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment has arrested a man on outstanding warrants and laid additional charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On May 1, at approximately 4:05 p.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment, with the assistance of RCMP Police Dog Services, Truro Police Service, and the Halifax Regional Police High-Risk Enforcement Action Team, located and arrested Kristopher Scott Drysdale, on Optimism Walk in Lower Sackville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 38-year-old man from Timberlea is charged with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Theft Under $5000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sexual Assault<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assault<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In Committing Assault Chokes, Suffocates or Strangles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Failure to Comply with Release Order (two counts)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drysdale is also charged with Uttering Threats and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose stemming from an incident on April 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drysdale appeared in Halifax Provincial Court on May 4 and remains in custody until his next scheduled court appearance on May 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source: RCMP Release <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment has arrested a man on outstanding warrants and laid additional charges.
