{"id":12890,"date":"2026-06-27T08:32:30","date_gmt":"2026-06-27T11:32:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=12890"},"modified":"2026-06-27T08:32:31","modified_gmt":"2026-06-27T11:32:31","slug":"rcmp-investigate-fatal-collision-car-crosses-centreline-collides-with-tractor-trailer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2026\/06\/27\/rcmp-investigate-fatal-collision-car-crosses-centreline-collides-with-tractor-trailer\/","title":{"rendered":"RCMP Investigate Fatal Collision, Car Crosses Centreline Collides With Tractor Trailer."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Barrington RCMP Detachment is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Hwy. 103 in Barrington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On June 26, at approximately 6:45 a.m., RCMP, fire services, and EHS responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision between exits 29 and 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officers learned that a Hyundai Elantra crossed the centreline and collided with a tractor trailer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The driver and only occupant of the car, a 37-year-old man of Shelburne, was pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The driver and only occupant of the tractor trailer, a 50 year-old man of Shelburne County, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene.
