{"id":13034,"date":"2026-07-14T07:31:53","date_gmt":"2026-07-14T10:31:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=13034"},"modified":"2026-07-14T07:31:54","modified_gmt":"2026-07-14T10:31:54","slug":"police-investigate-fatal-crash-involving-three-youths","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2026\/07\/14\/police-investigate-fatal-crash-involving-three-youths\/","title":{"rendered":"Police Investigate Fatal Crash Involving Three Youths."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two youths were killed and another suffered life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Lilydale on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lunenburg District RCMP, fire services and EHS responded to the crash on Hwy. 324 at about 6:40 a.m. on July 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police say a Ford Bronco travelling southeast left the roadway and struck a tree. The youth driver and a youth passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. A third youth occupant was airlifted to hospital by EHS LifeFlight with life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene. Highway 324 was closed for several hours while investigators examined the crash but has since reopened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The investigation is ongoing with assistance from the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two youths were killed and another suffered life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Lilydale on Saturday morning.
