{"id":13203,"date":"2026-07-30T16:25:13","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T19:25:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=13203"},"modified":"2026-07-30T16:25:13","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T19:25:13","slug":"police-investigate-serious-collision-involving-cyclist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2026\/07\/30\/police-investigate-serious-collision-involving-cyclist\/","title":{"rendered":"Police Investigate Serious Collision Involving Cyclist."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Colchester County District RCMP is investigating a serious collision involving a cyclist that occurred in Bible Hill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On July 29, at approximately 7:15 a.m., Colchester County District RCMP, fire services, and EHS responded to a report of a collision involving a bicycle and a Chevrolet Silverado on College Rd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 22-year-old cyclist from the Truro area, was transported to hospital by EHS with life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The driver of the truck, a 19-year-old woman from Truro, didn\u2019t report any physical injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">College Rd. was closed for several hours while an RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location of the collision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source: RCMP Release <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Colchester County District RCMP is investigating a serious collision involving a cyclist that occurred in Bible Hill.
