{"id":5681,"date":"2023-10-29T05:12:55","date_gmt":"2023-10-29T08:12:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/?p=5681"},"modified":"2023-10-29T05:13:55","modified_gmt":"2023-10-29T08:13:55","slug":"nslc-sales-are-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nnpress.ca\/index.php\/2023\/10\/29\/nslc-sales-are-up\/","title":{"rendered":"NSLC Second Quarter Sales Results."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"\">The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) released its second-quarter financial results today, October 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Total sales from July 3 to October 1 were up 1.2 per cent to $242.1 million, with an increase in both beverage alcohol and cannabis compared with the same time last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Earnings increased 0.6 per cent to $83.3 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Second-quarter results also show an increase in most sales channels, with a 2.7 per cent increase in sales to bars, restaurants and pubs, a 1.7 per cent increase in NSLC retail stores and a 0.1 per cent increase in independently owned agency stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Sales growth of Nova Scotia beverage alcohol products was led by locally produced beer, with a 5.1 per cent increase to $9.1 million.
