RCMP officers learned that a Toyota Tacoma was travelling on the road when it struck a construction worker who was painting yellow traffic lines in a construction zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The worker, a&nbsp;59-year-old Halifax man, suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The driver of the Tacoma, a&nbsp;36-year-old Eastern Passage man, did not suffer injuries but was exhibiting signs of impairment.
